In Europe we launch young talents though our INTRO programme in the fields of jazz (the Norwegian Jazz Launch in cooperation with the Norwegian Jazz Forum), classical music and folk music.

Concerts Norway has entered into a three-year cooperative agreement (2007–2010) with the French Jeunesses Musicales de France and the Belgian Jeugd en Muziek Vlaanderen i Belgia on competence-building measures and the exchange of music between the three countries. The two organisations mentioned above are regarded as Europe’s best and most comprehensive providers of concert experiences for children and young people.

The agreement also includes establishing methods for evaluating programmes from both the artistic and the information perspectives and for transferring competencies on disseminating music to the target group. It also attempts to develop an international research project designed to find out whether there are national differences in children with regard to their experience of music.

Concerts Norway represents Norway on the International Music Council (IMC) and takes part in a number of international organisations and networks. These include:
